1. Under the heading “Submit” click on “Sample.”

  2. Fill out information in the Search Permits fields. We recommend using the number and only the first three letters of the street name, as well as the Municipality; this limits any differences in spelling. For more information on how to use the permit search system, see Searching for a Permit

  3. If this is in our records as your client, click on “Search My Systems.” If this is not currently your client in our records, click on “Search All Systems.”

  4. The Search Results should appear. Click on the Permit Number in the leftmost column of the permit for which you wish to submit the sample results.

  5. Fill in the information as much as possible.
    1. Any red asterisk (*) indicates a required field.
    2. Influent and effluent samples will appear as they are assigned in our database. If you took a sample that is not listed, you are able to add the parameter in the appropriate drop down box.
    3. Click on “Below Recordable Limit/Non-Detect” if applicable; do not report as 0.
    4. Click on “Did not sample” and provide reason if applicable.
    5. If a sample parameter result exceeds the established minimum or maximum limit for that parameter, you will receive a warning message. Different towns have different requirements, as does MassDEP. Be sure to check the specific regulations of each town or state to determine follow up procedure (which may include resampling).

  6. When finished, click on “Submit Sample” at the bottom of the page. If there are any errors in the form, the system will alert you. Please only press the button once!
