Odors from wastewater are often caused by the gases that result from the decomposition of organic matter or byt the substances that are present in the wastewater. Wastewater has different odors based on what stage of the treatment is has undergone.
Odors often cause psychological stress to humans, including loss of apetite and mental disturbance.
